For those looking for a special shotgun shooting challenge, the sporting clays range at the United Sportsman’s Club will certainly provide it!  Eight different stations with up to three shooting stands per station and an endless variety of targets and presentations will challenge even great shooters.  Sporting clays provides great practice for those seeking to improve their hunting skills and is a nice alternative to the standard trap and skeet ranges.

The sporting clays range is open every Wednesday night from April through October 15 starting at 6:00 PM and every first and last Sunday of the month starting at 1:00 PM. From November through March, we are open every Sunday starting at 1:00 PM. Cost for a round of 50 is $8.00. Ammunition and ear plugs are available for sale on site.
 

 Club members wishing to schedule a group/family shoot outside of the established times can do so by contacting the range chairman.  The range is open to all member and their invited guests.

Sporting Clays Work Days!
If you're interested in helping with the repair and maintenance of the sporting clays range, we have three days scheduled;

April 26 - 10:00 a.m. to noon
May 10 - 10:00 a.m. to noon
June 14 - 9:00 a.m. to noon

The Youth Hunter Education Challenge - Shotgun Challenge will take place on June 21.  Please contact Jeff Cockerham if you are interested and available to assist with pulling trap and/or scoring.
