My Fellow Members,

The United Sportsmen's Club continues to grow and prosper in 2008 with its' over 1200 members enjoying all the shooting sport opportunities available to them at their club. The $45 annual club dues are on of the best value you will receive in today's economy and our life styles!!! With the close proximity and location of the facilities to the large part of our members --- it saves you money to drive such a short distance to enjoy your club. The USG's Board of Directors which as you know are elected by the members, very wisely spend your dues to best benefit the operation of the club. The operation/maintenance of the club continues to be the largest part of our budget, however, we continue to make improvements at the club -- purchase of a newer storage trailer for our clay bird investment; new roof on the main clubhouse; replacement of the falling plates on the pistol range; new targets on the rifle and utility ranges; new shooting stands at the sporting clays range; new gravel on the roads; cleanup of ranges and border fences from the devastating ice storm in December, 2007; and many other projects in the works!!! I hope you enjoy your club and its' many shooting sports opportunities in 2008 be sure to take a youth, spouse, or friend with you and share with them your club and all the good times you have had there!!! Finally, 2008 is an election year. Please exercise your right and vote - remember to vote in a manner to keep the right to have and bear arms, a right this nation has sustained throughout its' history. With this in mind your club will continue to be there when you wish to enjoy the outdoors and participate in the many activities it offers.
